The challenge

In the summer of 2021 football fans and amateurs alike were patiently waiting to get back to the field, but more than ever needed the motivation to give it their all during pre-season.

Under Armour wanted to capture the momentum it experienced during the pandemic and position itself as the brand of choice and inspire a new generation of customers aged 16+ (in UK & Germany) to believe that Under Armour is a ‘brand that motivates me’ during pre-season

The solution

We teamed up with football content specialists Copa90, elite football coaches and some of the UK and Germany’s hottest football influencers to put themselves and our audience through their paces so they could show up this pre-season. Content was seeded across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok, providing drills specific for pre-season training, encouraging viewers to take part


50% over-delivery on content views and all coach videos surpassed their own VR benchmarks
